In partnership with the PEI Writers’ Guild, Film PEI will be hosting a four-week "Write a Short Script in 4 Weeks" workshop designed to help participants develop a compelling short screenplay within the creative and practical constraints outlined by the Film4Ward program. This workshop is the first in a series of FREE professional development opportunities that will take place throughout the winter and spring as we move toward this year’s iteration of Film4Ward

TIAPEI training available February & March 2026: Festival and Events Training Series

As the demand for professional, well-executed, and sustainable events on PEI continues to grow, it’s important that organizers across the province have access to the right tools, knowledge, and connections to succeed. This training series is designed to support that goal by providing organizers from community volunteers to established event teams with practical, hands-on learning in key areas such as sponsorship, operations, marketing, and sustainability.

Nominations for the 2026 Charlottetown Arts & Culture Awards Are Open!

The Arts and Culture Awards, created by the Charlottetown Arts Advisory Board, are held bi-annually to honour those who contribute substantially to Charlottetown's arts and cultural sector. Awards are presented in the following categories: Emerging Artist, Artistic Excellence Award, Lifetime Achievement Award, Champion of the Arts, and Late Great Award.
