ArtMobile – Create in Community!

The CreativePEI Artmobile is a travelling event where everyone is welcome. These events are aimed at folks for whom art and creativity play a major part of their lives, especially arts sector workers.
Choose from the available art supplies to make something new, or bring your own materials/work-in-progress project to work on.
Come to create amongst your community, chat, seek advice, or get inspired.
Although these events are primarily for adult audiences, children are welcome to attend with the supervision of a guardian, and we encourage everyone to participate! 🖌️🎨

Everyone is welcome. The event is aimed at folks for whom art and creativity play a major part of their lives, especially arts sector workers. Supplies are provided, or bring your own!

Although these events are aimed for adult audiences, children are welcome to attend with the supervision of a guardian.

Accessibility Notes

What to Expect at an ArtMobile

Art Mobile travels to different locations, and while accessibility features and architecture vary from site to site, here’s what you can always expect at an Art Mobile event:

  • Free to attend
  • A large communal table for making art
  • 6–15 people working independently on art projects
  • Wide clearance around the tables so people can move around the room with ease
  • A separate table displaying free, communal art supplies
  • Relaxing, low-volume instrumental music playing from a speaker
  • Soft, muffled chatter between artists
  • Occasional clattering as artists rummage through the communal art supply bins
  • Overhead lighting
  • Windows with daylight diffused through semi-transparent blinds or curtains
  • Air conditioning
  • Service animals are welcome
  • A scent-free environment (suggested, but not guaranteed)
  • Bathrooms on site (accessible and non-gendered stalls are not guaranteed)
  • Wheelchair-accessible parking (proximity to the venue varies)
