Vendor Table Bookings Now Open!

This year Island Hill Farm will be offering vendors a table rental space for an outside market during our open hours. Your table will be located near our Shoppe or garden area part of our shop only section. We do have space for 4-6 tables in this area, so there may be other vendors booked during the same dates. Now Hiring: Pavilion Manager

Position Type: Full-Time, May/June-September/October Hourly: $19 UTS presents between 30-40 concerts, community events, and other activities between June to September, and the Pavilion Manager is a key role for ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for patrons and artists alike. This role will manage the St.Mary’s pavilion, which includes a wide range of event and administrative tasks associated with running a food service station open for business during concerts as well as special events.

Now Hiring: Concert & Events Staff (Multiple Positions)

Position Type: Full-Time, mid-June-late August. Flexible dates. Hourly: $16.50 We’re looking for 2-4 Concerts and Events staff who are interested in pursuing a career in arts and culture. The position will provide the opportunity to gain an understanding of arts, event and venue management. Our box office is located in Historic St. Mary’s Church, 1374 Hamilton Road, Indian River and box office hours are normally 12pm-5pm daily and 1 hour prior to showtimes.

Now Open: The Artist Development Program

The Artist Development program offers 75% of eligible expenses up to a maximum of $5,000 towards a year of artist development activities including sound recording, touring, showcasing, video content production, and marketing. This program is intended to provide development support to emerging artists. Artists who have commercially released music no more than 3 years prior to the application deadline are eligible to apply. One must have released a minimum of one track commercially.

Now Open: PEI Arts Grants Funding

The Arts Grants program offers three types of grants to support art and artists of Prince Edward Island. Each program serves a different purpose and requires a different application. You can apply to all three streams (Create, Share, Learn), but only one application per stream is allowed. When applying, you must include a curriculum vitae or resume, project description, including the start and end date of the project, the amount requested, as well as any other relevant information.

Micro Grant Program

The Community Micro-Grant program offers small scale grants up to $2500 to community groups and individuals that are planning an event or project which works towards the goals and actions of the City's Integrated Community Sustainability Plan. This year, the selection committee is particularly interested in projects that further the City’s efforts towards climate resilience, food security, supporting the arts, creating healthy communities, and making Charlottetown a more inclusive place to live.

Atlantic Lottery’s Community Canvas

Small Business Assistance

To encourage the creation and viability of small businesses in Prince Edward Island, Small Business Assistance supports activities that increase productivity and competitiveness. The program supports eligible costs related to internal planning and processes. A new business is eligible for support for marketing and promotion activities.

PHI Immersive Residency

PHI Immersive is a 4-week intensive residency program with PHI Studio in Montréal (Canada) that is centred on the development phase of an immersive project, including but not limited to new media, extended reality technologies (VR, AR, MR), AI driven projects, and immersive sound or audio. The selected artist will work alongside PHI Studio specialists to conceptualize, plan, and prototype their project. PHI Immersive residency period: March 3 to 28, 2025 (4 weeks)

Administrative Intern – Marketing & Publicity

June 3rd - August 31st, 2024 - $16/hour – Full Time The intern will assist with scheduling, marketing, donor management and fundraising. They will also manage ticket sales in person, on the phone and online. They will create, manage and enhance content on social media platforms. Additional duties will include supervising and training box office staff and volunteers, cash handling, assisting with building maintenance and ensuring the timely start of shows in collaboration with the stage manager.

Administrative Intern – Customer Service

Administrative Intern - Customer Service June 24th to August 31st, 2024 $16 per hour - Part Time - Approx. 25 hours/week The intern will assist with the day to day operations of the theatre. Duties will include managing the concession stand, handling cash, credit and debit card transactions and ensuring the safety and comfort of our patrons. Applicants must be between the ages of 18-30.
