IATSE Local 849 is a labour union that represents Motion Picture Technicians in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and PEI. They offer an introduction to the world of filmmaking and go over the dos and don’ts of working on set. This course is a requirement of anybody looking to become a referral, sister, or full member and is strongly recommended to anyone else looking to work on set.
